The Founding Day is a national occasion that narrates the glory of three centuries since the establishment of the Saudi state, inspiring their imaginations with the depth and quality of their shared history and culture.
In this project, we utilize illustrations as a means to convey those feelings and sentiments.
The illustrations represent the cultural and historical elements of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in a new and innovative way. Alongside this, through communicating key messages
with classic elegance and sophistication, our illustrations evokes a variety of prominent cultural images that express the diversity of Saudi culture.

The illustrations
I have been working on some important scenes that express the nature of Founding Day and the history of the first founding of the Saudi state, and to strengthen the depth of national identity that was founded by Imam Muhammad bin Saud three centuries ago. He established a political entity that achieved unity, stability, and prosperity. On this day, Diriyah became the capital of the first Saudi state.

Sword dancing is one of performance that best embodies the rich heritage and culture of Saudi.
