Rebranding - FC Girondins de Bordeaux

Introduction
 
This project focuses on the rebranding of the French football club FC Girondins de Bordeaux. The creativities designed are intended for both digital media (social networks) and print (advertising posters).
 
The main objective is to modernize the visual identity of the club with new and high quality ideas that better suit the current communication of sports clubs.
 
In this project, my job has been to redesign the logo and shirts of the club. In addition, I have prepared the club’s new communication strategy for social media on Instagram. Finally, I developed an advertising campaign to bring the club closer to its followers and project a more modern and dynamic image.
 
 
Context
 
FC Girondins de Bordeaux is a French football club founded in 1881 and located in the city of Bordeaux. It is a historic club nationwide for its antiquity but also for its well-stocked records. The club currently plays in the French Ligue 2, in the stadium Matmut Atlantique, after sports and financial difficulties. The Girondins have received numerous football personalities such as Zinedine Zidane, Bixente Lizarazu, Pedro Miguel Pauleta and Marius Trésor.
