The Dark Dossier is a multimedia brand dedicated to uncovering and exploring the mysteries of the unknown. With its flagship podcast, video series, articles, and active social media presence, The flagship podcast features in-depth explorations of conspiracy theories, unsolved mysteries, and paranormal phenomena, with expert guests, immersive storytelling, and listener submissions. Themes explored include government cover-ups, extra-terrestrial encounters, cryptids, shipwrecks, and urban legends. 

The challenge was to develop a brand that not only exude the core values, but resonate with the target audience at first glance. As a brand designer, my mission was to illuminate The Dark Dossier's essence through a comprehensive identity system that would resonate with their curious audience. Understanding The Dark Dossier's essence required delving into the heart of their content. Their world was one of boundless curiosity, where mysteries both ancient and contemporary beckoned, and where the pursuit of truth intertwined with the allure of the unknown. Through deep conversations with their team and a thorough exploration of their content, I unearthed the core values that defined their brand: curiosity, mystery, and intrigue.

In an attempt to break free from the ordinary and embrace the extraordinary, a mystique and enigmatic brand was created. The chosen typography juxtaposed bold, serif fonts with sleek, modern typefaces, reflecting the brand's blend of ancient wisdom and contemporary curiosity. The imagery  curated featured mysterious locations, haunted animals, extraterrestrial encounters, human skulls, and enigmatic artifacts, drawing viewers into a realm where the line between reality and the supernatural blurs. The chosen colour palette  was meant to evoke the shadows of secrecy and the depths of the unknown. Together, these elements formed a cohesive identity system that resonated with The Dark Dossier's audience, inviting them to explore the unknown and uncover its secrets.




The primary objective of The Dark Dossier is to establish itself as a premier destination for conspiracy theory enthusiasts and curious minds alike, offering captivating content that entertains, educates, and challenges conventional wisdom. By fostering an engaged community of truth-seekers and skeptics, the brand seeks to stimulate critical thinking, promote open-mindedness, and inspire curiosity about the mysteries that surround us.
