Through the growth of organic ancient shapes that simulate life, we explored the profound philosophical questions that arise from contemplating the ontological limits of representation, the elusive nature of being, and the enigmatic essence of existence in the vast expanse of the universe.

This project represents Serial Cut’s first collaboration with the talented Houdini artist Frederic Kokott. The goal of this collaboration is to create a series of three animations, titled “Imitation of Life,” that explore the Past, Present, and Future. The fantastic music and FX was created by Zelig Sound.
