FESPA Sustainability Spotlight guides
As part of their Sustainability Spotlight initiative, FESPA approached me to produce a series of documents to inform and educate FESPA members about issues around sustainability in the printing industry.

Aside from the green brand colour and the Sustainability Spotlight logo, no additional brand assets existed, so I was effectively free to create my own brand identity for the programme. A few months earlier I had created a series of brand icons for Sustainability Spotlight. I wanted to keep the look and feel similarly friendly, especially there's a lot of technical information involved, which can often be very dry!

Working closely with Graeme Richardson‑Locke​, FESPA's Head of Associations & Technical Lead, we took some of the shapes used in FESPA's corporate brand and combined them with stochastic and linear halftones. Graeme and I have used this combination in previous jobs for FESPA, evolving their corporate identity in a more playful and engaging direction.

The documents had to work as both printed and online versions, so I created an interactive navigation system that works in both use cases.
