The Five-Step Process to Playlist Construction
This project offered me the opportunity to work with clipping masks, drop shadows, and complex layering more closely as I attempted to create an infographic highlighting the steps of building a playlist.
I feel very strongly that this generation, if not every generation living in the digital age, puts thought into their playlists. This infographic is to demonstrate the intentionality of how some more eccentric playlist-makers curate their songs. Like the construction of a building, they operate with intense precision- finding the perfect playlist cover photo, title, and iconic one-line description, in addition to the perfectly ordered and selected track list. It was fun to explore that metaphor of construction for a digital concept.
