The focus of this project was honing my skills in designing and implementing a sports mascot logo. The creative process led me to focus on crafting a logo specifically for a fictional Catholic soccer team. Through this exercise, I explored various design elements and concepts to bring this imaginary team's identity to life, allowing me to delve deeper into the art of sports branding and visual storytelling.

I began by making a mood board. Once I'd found some images I likes, I made some sketched out a few ideas on paper before moving into Illustrator to finalize them.

I decided to use a color palette of silver, red, and gold to give the impression of power and opulence.

For the uniforms, I wanted to keep things relatively simple. I gave them a gold stripe down the sides and red sleeves as well as the logo on the chest.

For merchandise, I designed a T-Shirt with the shape of the shield forming the color on the lower left with the helmet on the chest. I thought it would be fun for people to be able to buy shields with the helmet printed on them, so I designed that as well.

Because this is a school team, I wanted students to have the logo on their backpacks.
