PENDING is a Bristol-based book and media club exploring stories across page and screen.
In our media-rich world, it’s difficult to ignore the presence of the screen when talking about stories and entertainment. PENDING is a space where films and shows are discussed alongside books. To encourage the multi-medial approach, the monthly reads are books that have been adapted for the screen. This approach to the classic concept of a book club aims to encourage reading not as an alternative to enjoying films, but as an extension and deeper exploration into the rich world of storytelling.
