The Open Polytechnic of New Zealand / Te Pūkenga

Open Polytechnic is New Zealand's leading provider of online and distance education, offering a variety of certificates, diplomas, and degrees across multiple disciplines, and continuing to adapt to the changing landscape of education. Located in Lower Hutt, they provide tertiary education at a national level for over 30,000 students each year.
I joined Open Polytechnic's Digital Experience team in May 2022 as a Digital Designer, contributing to the creation of numerous bespoke graphics and interactive web solutions for courses spanning accounting, initial teacher education, te reo Māori, applied science, and real estate. These assets included infographics, icons, illustrations, characters, flowcharts, and mathematical and engineering diagrams.
Below are just some examples of the work produced during my time at Open Polytechnic. I had a wonderful time as part of their Digital Experience team and loved collaborating with a strong group of designers, animators, videographers and project managers. I hope to have contributed to enhancing the educational experience for learners at Open Polytechnic through these graphics and assets.
