BOOKMARKER OF St. GEORGE

BOOKMARK OF St. GEORGE
This bookmark of St. George, is made with drypoint engraving on a tetrabrick, which is a technique that is applied on a tetrabrick and to do so will have to be done with a punch.
The process to obtain this boomark
First of all, I made the preliminary sketch to make the bookmark composition.
Secondly, I did the dry point stamping on the tetrabrick and drew the sketch I did on the tetrabrick to later continue with the punch to obtain the design on the tetrabrick.

With a machine with a specialized roller and with a bookmark measuring 5.5 x 18 cm we will apply it over the design of the tetrabrick and this will be stamped to the bookmark that we have cut out and once applied to the bookmark we will do the same with the design of the tetrabrick once the ink has been removed.
Thirdly, the design traced with the punch will be applied with a dark ink to make the stamping to the bookmark and with a roller will be applied to the design so that the ink is all over the design. In this case, the photograph of the design is in negative.
Then, with another bookmark we will remove the ink so that we only have the lines of the design with paper for a while. In this case, the photograph of the design is in positive.
Finally, once the ink is removed and we are left with only the lines of the drawing, we will apply color to the drawing, in my case I have chosen to do it with markers to color the bookmark.

This is how the bookmark looks like and I hope you like it.
