Mind-map Inspired by the Protey Temen work and art
This mind-map was inspired by the work and creativity of Russian artist and designer Protey Temen. I listened to his talk about education, wrote out notes. Idecided to structure and design them. To find a visual solution, I studied his projects and designs. Bubl Tap app caught my eye the most. Proteus Temen was the art director, artist and designer of the app.
Bubl is a new brand of children's educational art apps originating from Russia. It’s a series of art apps with the main character Bubl for young children, developing artistic perception of shape, colour and sound through play.
In the adverts for this app I was most attracted to the shapes, especially the gears and stars.
To me gears is a symbol of a system where the central element moves the subsequent ones and so on. I felt this perfectly captures the essence of the structure of the mind-map. The central cog, which is the topic of the lecture and the mind-map, moves the other gears/shapes (subtopics).
