Homenageando a cantoria do cancioneiro popular, o Festival Sertão A Dentro deságua no berço da poesia em Pernambuco, a região do Pajeú. Serra Talhada foi a cidade escolhida para receber a primeira edição desse projeto incentivado pelo Fundo Pernambucano de Incentivo à Cultura.
Entre as propostas do projeto estão fortalecer a cultura dos cantadores, promover o resgate da ancestralidade dessa manifestação e ajudar na preservação da memória cultural do Sertão.

[En] Paying homage to the singing of the folk songbook, the Sertão A Dentro Festival flows into the cradle of poetry in Pernambuco, the region of Pajeú. Serra Talhada was the chosen city to host the first edition of this project supported by the Pernambuco Cultural Incentive Fund.
Among the project's goals are to strengthen the culture of singers, promote the revival of the ancestry of this expression, and assist in preserving the cultural memory of the Sertão.
