1 Hotels asked me to find a design solution for them to share their ethical sustainable credentials with hotel guests. Printing is only ever done as a last resort, and it was important to balance earth friendly materials with repeat usage. I designed a simple two-side printed card without any folds as these are prone to wear and tear.
Copy is minimised, and illustrated with clean line art vector drawings to tell the stories of the 4 US hotels in New York, Brooklyn, Miami and Hollywood.
The brief was to create an infographic to communicate the key sustainability requirements of every 1 Hotel.
I applied the clean style I'd developed for the brand's illustrations, introduced a neutral colour palette, and edited down the texts for clarity. This resulted in a visually stimulating and engaging graphic.
