Palette Perspectives : An insight Into the World of Typography
This project was create to focus on the unseen grid that exists in Typography. This 20 page spread was designed with the idea of having the potential to be a professional magazine. I wanted to explore a more unique aspect and use a color as the base of the magazine. I contemplated colors such as blue, green, yellow, ect, but ultimately focused on a more complex color: scarlet. I wanted it to feel like it was part of a line that was already in production.
I learned a lot from this project. I expected this to be easy at first, but I quickly found out I was wrong. There is a lot of small details that goes into creating something like this. It can be a time consuming process. From learning alignment and hierarchy, typography will always be a needed in the world of design.
