Sustainability themed Bank card design
As a customer and designer impressed by Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC's commitment to sustainable practices, I've designed a new Visa debit card design reflecting this focus. The first bank in Sri Lanka to embrace sustainable banking, their recent logo redesign aligns perfectly with this eco-conscious approach.
The card's design uses the color blue throughout. This blue represents the vast ocean, a symbol of trust that's important for banks. The clean white lines on the card are like clear waves in the ocean. These waves show the bank's efforts to keep our oceans clean by doing beach cleanups to remove plastic trash. Finally, the card has a golden turtle made of thin lines. Gold is a color that means something valuable, and the turtle represents the bank's valuable projects to protect turtles.
This design, conceptualized by a customer and graphic designer, is a tribute to Commercial Bank's leadership in sustainability.
