For this project, I had to imagine
a building that would fuse
two distinct architectural styles.
I chose to blend the essence of New York's SoHo with the charm of Kathmandu.
Adding a shop that would harmoniously unite this cultural blend was also part of the brief and so I envisioned a landmark HERMÈS store.
My inspiration for the residential part of the building draws from the architectural styles prominent in Lower Manhattan, while for the HERMÈS Boutique, I drew inspiration
from the Buddhist temples found in Durbar Square, Katmandu.
