I created these years ago when I learned that there was a mass shooting happened in Christchurch. I remember I was traveling in, Phnom Penh, Cambodia and I was in the hostel that I didn't enjoy in a slightest bit (I love Siam Reap tho!) while having a phone call with a friend of mine. She told me about the shooting. 

Ironically, we both went to NZ on a working holiday visa years later. I visited Christchurch and the mass shooting didn't even come across my mind at all. It is no wonder history repeats itself no matter how many times the same old (true) story it's been told. Human just tend to be forgetful unless it's personally affected in a terrible way.
