I KNOW THE END
This project was a way for me to exercise my ability to illustrate something meant for a specific genre and target audience, along with practicing visual foreshadowing.
It was created for a story fitting the noir mystery genre, with a target audience between 45-74. I also wanted to frame it as a new release with no prior relation to the title, where creating a cover that will generate interest and engagement with customers with an existing interest in the genre was important.

First, I started with a concept sketch that included themes I wanted to include. Then I finished the illustration that would be used for the front cover.

This project was also used as a submission to the IABC’s 2023 Pinnacle Awards, paired with a work plan. As a result, I was given an award of excellence.
