Poise Ad Redesign

This project required me to find a print ad and redesign it. I chose the Poise ad for a couple of reasons. I felt that the style of the ad was dated and inappropriate for the demographic it was targeting. I first saw the advertisement in an issue of Harper's Bazaar, which caters to a classy and sophisticated audience. I thought the brand would benefit from an ad that had a more modern feel, targeted to a more mature audience. 

The yoga flow photo is bright and clean, making a connection with the viewer so that they are interested to see what the product is. I used a colour picker to find the exact purple colour the brand uses, and used the same font that is featured on their website. 

I kept the product photo and information on the bottom left so that the viewer knows what exactly is being advertised. The hierarchy I used creates a more pleasing visual experience without sacrificing clarity or brand recognition. 






The QR code was not present in the original ad. During my research, I saw that the Poise website features several articles on female health, and thought that adding a QR code linking to the site would be a great opportunity to convert readers into website visitors. 

The redesign was intended to be used in the same format as the original, but it could also be used as part of a larger marketing campaign.
