Let me make a reservation right away: I do not consider myself a portrait painter. I am much closer to sketches of architecture and landscapes. But even in my sketchbooks there are such characters from time to time. I wanted to show them by combining them into one exhibition. All that unites these works is the bright color and charisma of the character.
