‘Invest in You’ is an annual conference held by Zenergi that brings school business professionals together for a day of networking, professional development and tips to manage stress and develop a positive mindset. The event aims to address the demands placed on school business professionals who must manage ever tighter budgets and increasing workloads. The event was designed with wellbeing in mind and the objective of leaving delegates feeling refreshed and energised, armed with a toolbox of tips and ideas ready to overcome their challenges.

I wanted to create a memorable event identity to establish a cohesive and consistent experience for attendees, sponsors, and stakeholders, ultimately leaving a lasting impression and building brand recognition. With so many conferences and corporate events in our industry, standing out and making a lasting impression was essential. A strong and consistent event brand would help to establish our event as a reputable and trustworthy choice for attendees. When potential attendees come across our branding materials, they should immediately understand what the event is about and why they should attend. A visually appealing and cohesive branding strategy can pique their interest, encourage them to find out more, and ultimately register for the event.

Social media platforms were a powerful tool for promoting the event and engaging with our target audience. I created visually appealing graphics and posts that could be shared across our social media channels. We encouraged attendees to engage with our event by using event-specific hashtags and sharing their experiences on the day. The physical space where our event took place offered us an opportunity to reinforce our branding. We used signage, banners, and displays incorporating our event branding and messaging. Strategically placed signage and banners were used to effectively communicate our event branding and guide attendees throughout the venue. We placed them in high-traffic areas, such as entrances, registration desks, and session rooms, to create a cohesive and visually appealing atmosphere. We also utilised printed marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and posters to provide opportunities to reinforce our event branding. Branded merchandise is always a great way to engage attendees. We provided branded items like tote bags, water bottles and umbrellas that reflected our event branding. These items served as reminders of the event and can extend the reach of our branding beyond the event itself.
