Mobia is an online training app that offers a holistic approach to wellness through yoga classes, mindfulness practices, and community events.
The name "Mobia" comes from a combination of "mobility" and "harmonia," representing our focus on movement and balance. The business was started to create a space where people can connect with their bodies, minds, and the community, inspired by the founder's personal journey of healing and self-discovery through yoga and mindfulness practices.

Mobia offers a unique solution by providing personalized yoga and wellness plans tailored to individual needs, helping members find balance, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being - all from their phones. With a strong focus on building a supportive community, Mobia creates an environment where members can connect, share experiences, and find the motivation and guidance they need to thrive in their wellness journey.
I conducted a competitive analysis of existing yoga studios and their websites in Auckland, New Zealand. The two I've found are East West Yoga and Hot Yoga Works Britomart.

My analysis from East West Yoga's website:
Their beige background is appealing, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. However, I find their use of black and white imagery dull and unwelcoming. They do have an online training platform, however, this may be via their website as there is no mention or CTA for an app download.

My analysis from Hot Yoga Work's website:
I have reservations about their use of blue and red colours, finding them unappealing for my target audience. Additionally, I noticed that their website lacks the use of white space effectively, leading to a crowded and potentially overwhelming visual experience.

Hot Yoga Works also doesn't offer an online training platform, which could be a significant opportunity for Mobia to differentiate itself. Their website appears text-heavy, which may not align with the preference for visual and interactive content among my target users.
When creating this brand, I aimed to keep the design of Mobia minimal and clean. Thus focusing my design process on these key factors:

User-Centric Interface: I focused on prioritizing a user-centric design approach to ensure the app, website, and branding are intuitive and easy to navigate for women looking for a convenient way of training.

Visual Consistency: Maintaining visual consistency across all elements of Mobia, including the app interface, website layout, and branding materials, to create a cohesive and memorable brand identity.

Mobile Optimization: Ensuring that Mobia is optimized for mobile devices, with responsive design elements and a seamless user experience on smartphones and tablets, catering to the on-the-go lifestyle of the target audience.
The end result of my design process for Mobia is a sleek and user-friendly platform that caters specifically to the needs of women seeking a convenient yoga solution. With a minimal and clean design approach, Mobia's interface is aesthetically pleasing and easy to navigate, ensuring a seamless experience for users.

The visual consistency across the app, website, and branding creates a cohesive and memorable brand identity, reinforcing Mobia's commitment to quality and professionalism. Moreover, the mobile optimization of Mobia ensures that users can access and enjoy the platform seamlessly on their smartphones and tablets, reflecting Mobia's understanding of it's target audience.

Overall, Mobia's end result is a modern and sophisticated platform that prioritizes user experience and delivers value to its users
