Encountr serves as a multimedia introduction to Christianity, infused with the aesthetic of punk culture. It aims to invite all individuals, particularly non-believers, to engage with the Christian experience through a visual reinterpretation informed by punk ideology. While traditionally seen as opposing themes, Encountr endeavors to unite Christianity and punk culture under the common theme of counter-culture.

Additionally, the project functions as a critique of sociopolitical climates in relation to the Christian faith. While persecution of Christians in Western societies is relatively low, those in Eastern climates often face significant risks, including imprisonment, harassment, assault, and even death, for openly expressing their faith. Drawing parallels to the experiences of 1st century Christians, Encountr prompts reflection on the origins of rebellion against societal norms, particularly in the face of adversity and persecution. It highlights the transformative power of encountering the gospel of Christ as a catalyst for embracing a radical life.
As a university thesis project, this was meant to be experienced in person.
Due to COVID, the project was cut short and translated to a web experience instead.
