Chinese perception of teaware

The visual study focuses on Chinese utensils made for the tea ceremony.

In the process of development, tea utensils were closely intertwined with national painting, sculpture, and craft, which made ceremonial utensils a mirror of Chinese culture.
Study images are located at an angle of 90°, which forces the reader to turn the book 
if he wants to examine the visual material in more detail. When rotated, the blocks of text resemble vertical ancient Chinese writing.

The research material is divided into 8 main chapters, each of which is devoted
to one element of the tea set.
The peculiarity of ceremonial dishes lies in its strong connection with the spiritual
and the cultural life of the people, which affected on the appearance of the products.
This suggests that ceremonial dishes can be called a mirror of the history
and culture of China.
Of great importance is the development of art and production technology, as well
as historical events, which definitely influenced the appearance of tea utensils.
