In this project, I made a logo for a company I made up, using only the first letters of its name.

The company is called Real Roots, it's a grocery store dedicated to providing healthy organic plant food at affordable prices.

After making my creative brief, I went through some thumbnail ideas. I wanted the logo to reflect plants somehow, without obscuring the letters to much. So, I mostly leaned into the plant and its roots.

I decided to explore thumbnails 31, 44, and 48. I went into Adobe Illustrator a recreate them and their variants.

Ultimately, I went with my lowercase "r" idea. I chose this because not only does the lowercase "r" look kind of like a tree, but the fact that the uppercase "R" is the root symbolizes the business' focus. It considers the origins of its food very important. Only wanting the provide the healthiest and ethically produced food to the community.

Finally, I found a mock-up template online, and using Photoshop, created food packages for the brand.
