Personal project, 11 pieces, each made of 160 hand-cut, yard-long strips of butcher paper for a total of 1760 strips, 1 mile of paper. Each piece is a detailed portrayal of a place important to me, incorporating people, text, song lyrics, architecture, and more. From first to 11th piece, the places get further and further from my current location (Boston, MA, 0 miles furthest being Telluride, CO, 2219 miles).
