El desafío consistió en seleccionar un espacio dentro del shopping Distrito Arcos en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires y diseñar un local que represente la marca Hard Rock. La idea central fue crear un espacio multifuncional que combinara un área de merchandising con un restaurante, respetando las limitaciones estructurales del lugar.
The challenge involved selecting a space within Distrito Arcos shopping center in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and designing a venue that embodies the Hard Rock brand. The central idea was to create a multifunctional space that combines a merchandise area with a restaurant, while respecting the structural limitations of the location.
El proyecto se desarrolló en tres naves del Distrito Arcos, con la opción de incluir un subsuelo. Se impuso la restricción de no alterar las arcadas ni la fachada del edificio debido a las regulaciones del lugar.
The project was developed in three bays of Distrito Arcos, with the option to include a basement. The restriction was imposed not to alter the arches or the facade of the building due to the location's regulations.
Diseño:
Planta Principal: Al ingresar al local, los visitantes son recibidos por un área de merchandising donde se venden productos exclusivos de la marca como ropa, tazas y objetos coleccionables.
Recepción y Acceso al Restaurante: A la izquierda del área de merchandising, se encuentra un pasillo que conduce a la recepción del restaurante ubicado en el subsuelo. Esta área cuenta con cómodos sillones y ofrece una vista clara del subsuelo, permitiendo a los visitantes ver las mesas y la atmósfera del restaurante.
Acceso al Subsuelo: Después de la recepción, los visitantes tienen dos opciones para descender al subsuelo: una escalera o un ascensor.
Restaurante en el Subsuelo: Al llegar al subsuelo, los visitantes son recibidos por la barra principal y varias mesas distribuidas estratégicamente para ofrecer una experiencia cómoda y agradable. Al final del subsuelo, se encuentran los baños, con un diseño separado para hombres y mujeres, y una ubicación estratégica cerca de la cocina.
Design:
Main Floor: Upon entering the venue, visitors are greeted by a merchandise area where exclusive brand products such as clothing, mugs, and collectible items are sold.
Reception and Restaurant Access: To the left of the merchandise area, there is a corridor leading to the restaurant reception located in the basement. This area features comfortable armchairs and offers a clear view of the basement, allowing visitors to see the tables and the restaurant's atmosphere.
Basement Access: After the reception, visitors have two options to descend to the basement: a staircase or an elevator.
Restaurant in the Basement: Upon reaching the basement, visitors are welcomed by the main bar and several tables strategically distributed to provide a comfortable and pleasant experience. At the end of the basement, there are restrooms, with separate designs for men and women, and a strategic location near the kitchen.
El diseño del local se inspiró en la forma de una guitarra, reflejado en las curvas utilizadas en la distribución de los espacios, el mobiliario y el recorrido del usuario. Estas curvas guían el flujo de los visitantes y crean una estética coherente y atractiva para el local.
The design of the venue was inspired by the shape of a guitar, reflected in the curves used in the distribution of spaces, the furniture, and the user's journey. These curves guide the flow of visitors and create a coherent and attractive aesthetic for the venue.
El diseño del local de Hard Rock en el Distrito Arcos representa una fusión perfecta entre la esencia de la marca y las características únicas del espacio. A través de la utilización estratégica de curvas inspiradas en la forma de una guitarra, se ha logrado un diseño coherente y atractivo que guía de manera intuitiva el recorrido de los visitantes.
La combinación de un área de merchandising en la planta principal y un restaurante en el subsuelo ofrece una experiencia completa y multifacética para los clientes. El cuidadoso diseño de los espacios, el mobiliario y la distribución permiten una circulación fluida y una experiencia gastronómica y de compra memorable.
