There are people who continue to believe that we don't need feminism today, and there could not be anything further from the truth. Women have been fighting for equality and against oppression for centuries, and although some battles have been partially won (such as the right to vote and equal access to education), women are still disproportionately affected by all forms of violence and discrimination in all aspects of life.
Making use of the harmony of primary colors and mixtures that these generate, "We are the cry of those who are no longer here" is part of a collection of watercolor paintings that seeks to tell a story together with the contrast generated by the lights of different colors, with a common focal point: THE EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN.
Thanks to the cycle of lights that will appear, we will be able to appreciate different scenes with which most of us have been familiarized. Suffering, harassment, indifference, silence, an internal cry for help and not finding a way out; these situations we have experienced either by a family member, an acquaintance, or in the flesh.
