Photo Personality Photo Documentary

For this project I wanted to do a self-portrait. As a photographer, I primarily focus on other people's stories. For that reason, I decided to go out of my comfort zone and focused on myself for this assignment. Being a young adult, I am still figuring out life and what brings me personal joy. The first two photos depict my newfound love of the outdoors. I recently went on a trip to Sequoia National Park where I saw snow (this was my 2nd time ever seeing snow before). I wanted to capture that monumental moment in my life; and the friends that accompanied me. The next two pictures juxtapose the first, as I also have a love for the indoors. I can be a homebody at times, and spend my days and nights on the internet. I am chronically online and can talk for hours about internet drama. The last photo is meant to depict nightlife. Being that I am 22, I am still new to clubbing, and like many young adults, find it exciting to stay out late with friends, dancing to music. These three photos are a well-rounded example of who I am as an evolving human being and perfectly exemplify my multifaceted personality.
(All photos were shot on a Canon Rebel EOS T6 and edited in Adobe Lightroom Classic. I used natural lighting, my phone's flashlight, and a multicolored nightlight to achieve the needed lighting for each separate shot.)
