GRIEF
Vilém Flusser says, "Before the invention of photography, nobody knew what the purpose of politics was. Progress is not the purpose. Progress is a method, but where do we advance to?" After the invention of photography, politics found its purpose. The purpose of everything was to be captured in an image. With social media, humanity found its lost meaning. Now, with the invention of AI images, humanity might lose that meaning again, and it is hard to tell where it will be found next.
These images, produced by me with Midjourney and influenced by Käthe Kollwitz and Misha Gordin, depict a grief for our lost meaning.
