Remembering the lessons of War before the War
Through my eyes (and lenses), I present you what is known in the Russian Federation as "Immortal Regiment". Every year in the 9th of May, since the end of World War II in 1945, thousands of people descendants of those who fought in the Great Patriotic War gather and march through the streets of the Russian capital, remembering the sacrifices of their ancestors in exchange for freedom from Nazi Germany.
These are the photos from the second time I participated in such an event, during my four years living in Moscow, in May 2019.
