10 draft posters/sketches

With these practice posters I was only dabbling in the software and figuring out on how everything works, did basic doodles and sketches to get the ropes of how everything works, I struggled with the basics and this is how it turned out.

With my 3 reconstructed movie posters, I went with what movies and games that I like but also what I can do with my skill set on illustrator, I found out by then that Im good at blending sunset type colours as seen by my practice posters and now my gta6 poster and that's because those colours resonate with me as a person. With my blinding lights poster, to replicate the image I went to a spot where everything lights up around the mall I was at and captured that image.

My mood-board represents me as a person entirely, all the images on here are what I like to do and have a special meaning for me, I love sunsets and neon lights of the city at night along with driving around at night, my car has huge amounts of meaning for me for personal reasons, I kept it simple as I am a simple person at heart, It doesn't take much to make me happy and relaxed.

For my final poster I chose to do one of my favourite horror franchises up and coming movie scream 7. My process and thoughts behind this poster is that I wanted again to make sure I could do it with what I know how to do on illustrator and not because I don't know how to do certain things but I knew that this style, I can do well with what I know. The back ground and the blood splatter were images I got from the internet but the actual mask and hood was all custom made with the pen tool, I used the image provided as a reference point to make sure I got something similar with what I made.
