My Room blender Term 3
For blender this term we had to make a room for a character that got assigned to us. I got witch so I made this cute room for a witch. I found this assignment very fun and interesting to make, and it helped me get better at blender.
Character backstory and soundtrack:
Name: Aurora
Personality: Introvert, cares about people close to her, powerful within, confident.
Her name is Aurora, she is a witch. She is still so young. She’s only 23, but don’t underestimate her powers. She doesn’t talk to many people, she’s very on her own. But she would do anything for the people closest to her. She is a very loving person, but also very fierce and smart.
She loves reading, and she also loves cooking. Especially cooking new things, and finding interesting recipes. A lot of the times she is in her room, or in her flower garden looking at the sky. She spends a lot of time with her mentor, he is one of the oldest, and most powerful wizard that exists. He helps her getting control of her powers and teaching her new spells. They got very close over the years. He’s like a second father to her since she lost hers when she was very young. She does still have a mom, but Aurora doesn’t know where her mom is. She’s also not sure if she’ll ever start looking for her mom, because right now she is quite happy.
She has a huge collection of spell books that she uses to practice. She loves who she has become and is very confident about who she is. She is married, but the problem is…. That she used a spell on her husband and turned him into a fish, and she has never been able to find a spell to change him back. She still loves him with her whole heart and will take care of him until she finds a spell to bring him back.

Process actual room:
This is what I've added through making the room. I got feedback that I needed to show the story a bit more, so I added some things on the table to show the research for the fish. She changed her husband into a fish and is trying to find a spell to get him back.
Finalizing the room:
Here I gave everything colors and added the final details in the room.
End product:
This is the room in the end. I'm proud of how it turned out and it was very fun to make. It gave me extra experience and I found different way to do things. At first I made the curtains with cloth modifiers but that didn't work out so I modeled them and that did work. So I'm happy about that.
