"Transcript"
is an audio-visual performance composed of shots that imitate real objects. Both sound and image are artificially generated, without the use of field recordings. It observes and comments on humanity’s attempts to replicate reality, suggesting that the process is prone to errors and that it may never be possible to fully replicate our environment. If this is true, the pursuit of copying reality becomes pointless.
The work was presented on a 32-speaker 3D sound system with real-time, generative sound source control
