Visual Identity project for the "Ventotene and S. Stefano" Marine Protected Area, two small islands located in Tyrrhenian Sea, next to Italian coast. Its institution, back to 1997, aims to achieve many purposes, such as environmental protection, conservation of biological resources, promotion and development of educational and scientific activities.
Different properties of flow were then translated into the Visual Identity: as migration flow, marittime transport and ocean currents varies throughout the year in the Marine Protected Area, the strokes used in the logo change their weight and movement, resembling the variations of real flows' intensity and direction.
