I was responsible for the design, user experience, and CMF (color, material, finish) for the Lovesac StealthTech products. I worked closely with the engineers at Harman Kardon to achieve our design and audio goals.
The Lovesac StealthTech Center Channel (aka soundbar) is the only visible component of the StealthTech system. True to its name, our goal was to instill the Center Channel with a sense of stealth, marrying elegance and simplicity to seamlessly integrate with the electronics near your TV. This design strategy ensures that the spotlight remains squarely on the immersive sound experience the StealthTech system delivers.
While I didn't design the StealthTech app, I played a significant role in its design and user experience development. Additionally, I led the design of the Lovesac StealthTech Remote. Given its limitations compared to an app, I carefully determined which features were essential for its functionality.
In addition to overseeing the Center Channel design, I was responsible for the Subwoofer CMF and artwork layout. I also designed the graphics that are screen printed on the Sactionals StealthTech sides which indicate the location of the two hidden speakers and wireless charger.
In addition to designing the physical products, I was responsible for designing the packaging for each product. This included designing the packaging structure and artwork, with a specific focus on enhancing the customer's unboxing experience.
This is the Setup Guide (instruction manual) that I was responsible for creating. I created all graphics and illustrations and laid out the artwork on each of the 47 pages. It was quite the project, going through countless revisions to get it just right. Fun fact: the Setup Guide that went out with the first batch of units was actually Version 55!
