"How to paint the White Cube" is a study on ways the contemporary art leaves the boundaries of museums and how the place that the art is displayed in affects the way the art itself is perceived. The book also tries to determine if there are alternative solutions to art display.
Издание состоит из двух частей:

— вторая обозревает альтернативы Белому кубу, например, выставки в барах и кофейнях.

Two parts use different types of paper and layouts.
Акцидентный шрифт в первой части использован в более строгом начертании, а во второй — в наклонной версии, чтобы подчеркнуть контраст между главами.
Display typeface used in more strict style in first part, while being slanted in second part to underline the contrast between chapters.

Most of the quotes present both in half-titles and spreads belong to Brian O'Doherty artist and art critic famous for his series of essays "Inside the White Cube: The Ideology of the Gallery Space".
