An imaging and visualisation project done in February 2024
This project was my first attempt at digital illustrations and is based on a character Daeva who I conceptualised, the final deliverable takes the form of a vertical narrative.
The brief required the creation of a character grappling with a flaw that significantly influences their daily existence. Enter my creation: a Siren devoid of the enchanting singing prowess typical of her kind. Coupled with her narcissistic tendencies and blatant disregard for others, she inadvertently repels the very men she's meant to allure with her dreadful vocal abilities. Ironically, instead of admirers, she finds herself surrounded by adorable, furry creatures that inexplicably cling to her, despite her disdain for companionship. The name Daeva is a Zoroastrian supernatural entity with disagreeable characteristics, it also sounds like diva, further explaining her personality.
