ABOUT THE PROJECT

Vilnius International Film Festival (KINO PAVASARIS) is Lithuania’s largest annual cinematic event, known for its meticulously curated program of high-quality films and the accompanying experience of industry discussions, workshops, and film-related initiatives.

CLIENT NEEDS

Each year, KINO PAVASARIS presents over 100 carefully curated screenings that are grouped into different programs. From pre-festival buzz to summer screenings, the event’s content keeps evolving throughout the year, accompanied by a unique annual slogan and visual identity. So naturally, this dynamism presented a tough design challenge: maintaining a cohesive look despite the ever-changing seasons.

DESIGN VALUE

KINO PAVASARIS needed a website design that could showcase the unique essence of each program while staying true to the overall festival brand. So we opted for a minimal and practical design. This approach made it easier for users to navigate and choose films, ensuring the movies themselves remained the center of attention. Additionally, the minimal design now offers greater flexibility. By avoiding an overly branded aesthetic, the website can dynamically adapt to reflect the specific identity of each upcoming festival.
