Project: Surface Design Illustration
The folks at BlackMilk created a pattern from my bandana design, "Graveyard Smash," to mimic the look of a garment stitched together using bandanas (which was very much on trend at the time). They were drawn to the creepy yet cute nature of the illustration, which was perfect for their Spooky Season launch.
This was available in two styles: a romper and a dress, which were marketed through a social media influencer campaign. It was rad to see how people styled the garment and the accessories they chose that complemented the design.
I would love to create more surface designs and illustrations for apparel or home goods (especially home goods 😉)!
