These projects were developed by students after they learned skills enough to design their own work. For example, we would learn to cut and solder and set bezel, then students designed something of their own.  Most of these are from early on in the first year... though they are well done.

Miranda used this process to create her design.  This is similar to a layered design I sometimes assign, but as you can see from the journal work she developed it from her own research.
