BRAND: BUN CHA JOURNEY
Along time ago, Bun Cha became an indispensable part of Vietnamese culinary culture and became a "signature" dishes that everyone must try when visiting this place. For Hanoians, Bun Cha is synonymous with bamboo sticks (a Hanoi-specific traditional cuisine). Those who are distant from home frequently recall the light flavor of hot fish sauce, which is made from a perfect blend of fish sauce, vinegar, garlic, and sugar...
Bun Cha Journey is a Vietnamese culinary brand with branches in Ireland, founded by Mr. Thanh Son Hai, a long-time expatriate with the desire to bring the flavors of Vietnamese cuisine from his homeland to the land of foreign hospitality.
In this project, Merdes had the opportunity to accompany Mr. Thanh Son Hai from defining brand strategy and building brand stories to developing brand identity, logo, packaging, and 3D concept for the restaurant.
With the main image inspired by Bun Cha fire-grate, Bat Trang ceramics, and Vietnamese Dragon motifs (during the Le-Trung-Hung period), Merdes has created a complete brand identity with consistent design concepts and colors, contributing to creating a strong and lasting impression in the minds of customers.
