The idea - To take the Israeli traditional "Altezahen", bring it to europe and make it a trendy new business of recycling and re-using. Taking old furniture and different materials, designing and making something new, cool and functional.
Target - Basically everyone. Anyone searching for new design aesthetics, young people that care about the environment and beleive in recycling. Hipsters, art lovers, collectors.
How does it work? Once you're done with your old furniture thats run down/ broken/out of use you use the "Altezahen" App, or website, ordering a pick up. The "Altezahen" crew will arrive with a van, pick up your old goods, and take them to the studio. At the studio, a team of industrial designers will redesign, fix up and rennovate the old product and make a new one. Once the product is ready you will receive a message telling you that the product is ready. Then the decision is up to you - either buy it at a special price (paying only for the rennovation) or decide to leave it for sale at the studio. All the new products will be showcased at the studio and will be up for sale.
