My passion for photography comes from a deeply personal project I've dedicated myself to over the last six years. This ongoing series delves into the intricate relationship between humans and canines, encapsulated in themes of Focus, Harmony, Vitality, and Triumph.

For an upcoming summer exhibit, I've curated a selection of images from the "Vitality" series. I'm currently embarking on the meticulous process of selecting, printing, and preparing for the final presentation, while also strategizing the marketing and sales aspects to seize the opportunities I hope to cultivate.
When curating images from the Vitality series, I prioritize selecting those that encapsulate the athleticism, speed, and sheer vitality inherent in these races. Simultaneously, I deliberate on their presentation and envisioning how the exhibit will visually unfold, which guides my printing decisions.

Drawing from experience, these prints will be large, somewhere between 3'-4' on the short side and 5'-6' on the long side, and I anticipate the impactful presence these large prints will command. Given the enthusiastic audience expected at the exhibit, I've opted to offer these as limited editions to viewers. I plan to keep the series limited to five prints of each image. The initial print of the series will be retained, with subsequent prints incrementally priced. While exact pricing is still under consideration, a tentative strategy could involve pricing the second print at $475, reflecting the value encompassing printing, mounting, and lamination costs. My aspiration is for these prints to sell swiftly, ideally on the first day of the two-day event, leveraging the supply/demand dynamics to prompt additional sales. Selling one print of each series would cover the expenses for the show, thereby ensuring subsequent sales contribute directly to profits. As prints three and four become available, the price may rise to around $875, culminating in a final print price of $1,475.
As a photographer, I strongly advocate for artists to maintain direct control over the printing process. To ensure this, I utilize a range of professional Epson printers, including sizes of 17", 24", and 44", all of which employ archival pigment ink technology. Additionally, for canvas prints, I employ a 52" Roland printer utilizing eco-solvent inks.

For the prints featured in this exhibition, I opt for Epson's Professional Media Series, specifically metallic luster or metallic gloss. When paired with the 5mil thermal high-gloss lamination film and strategically illuminated, the mounted prints exude a remarkable radiance that must be witnessed firsthand to be fully appreciated. Frameless, and mounted on high-quality, 1/2" thick foam core, the presentation is simple yet elegantly impactful.
