When it starts looking a lot like Christmas, it’s time to think differently when conceptualising and designing festive season campaigns. When I was part of the team at Circle Branding by Design, I was tasked with doing the fun illustrations for Sun City’s festive campaign for 2018.

I designed the visual language with two familiar Christmas characters with a dynamic relationship, portrayed as enjoying the activities available across the resort. The colour palette used was an extension of the resort’s original palette, made to be more vibrant and in-line with a traditional Christmas feel. The Santa’s Resort campaign was communicated through various mediums from printed flyers, to emailers, digital screens and posters.
