Growing communities is a project to support community gardens for self-sufficiency. In a joint field research with the Gardens of Hope project in the Hardarp region in Namibia, I developed a concept for low-threshold digitalization and participation of all stakeholders involved. The focus was on the further training of gardeners through the networking of science, business and practitioners with the aim of profitable self-employment and self-sufficiency with fresh, organic food.
