Deploying and Updating Office 365 ProPlus applications for clients based on Geographical Location of the user using on-permises DFS infrastructre
Scripts stored in DFS will be automatically run on startup to identify office 365 prolpus clients and check for update version availability.
Extract AD sites and services subnet details and compare it with computer subnet IP address to get the Geographical location of the computer and get the respective DFS server details for getting the update.
This will enable users to get in contact with the nearest DFS server rather than communicating across the domains or region for getting the updates
This will reduce the WAN traffice across the network and avoid incomplete download or installation of the udpate.
