Austin's African American Cultural and Heritage Facility fosters development of cultural activities, business opportunities and the essence of what it means to be a community. The branding was based on African art. The logo is an Adinkra symbol of a crocodile, representing the ability to thrive even in the most adverse conditions. It is one of the most widely embraced Adinkra symbol among African Americans. The color palette was based on antique Congolese Kuba cloth designs.
Project included branding, logos for the facility and each of the tenants, website design and photography.
