INTRODUCTION
In this project students were assigned to combine two typographic characters- one being positive (black) and one negative (white)- to create a single typographic mark, while ensuring both characters are legible.
PROCESS
To begin I started off this project with 16 black and white sketches. After sketching out a few ideas I then transferred a few of them on to illustrator as well as began trying other letter combinations. I messed with scale, weight, as well as tried rotating letters to get a desired outcome. I then narrowed down my drafts to four final designs and perfected them.
