The aime of the course was to design an analysis project journey centered on a functional object by choice, in this case the vase. The final output consisted in a real atlas divided in twelve sections: the different types; cognitive maps that visualize their diversity and categories; the colors, patterns, textures and decorations applied and created; the most used materials; their morphology and related functions; the creation of a photographic reportage; a designer journey in the Salone del Mobile in Milan in search of particular types of vases; the difference between notable objects and typical objects; their aesthetic-formal representation; still life photography; viewing of a shared imagination.
